Grocery Shopping with Coupons, Where to Start? Tip 1

Ok so you want to start shopping in the grocery store with coupons, but you don't know how to get the best deal, or have you been trying it and only been getting 10 dollars off each trip and printing and clipping your coupons aren't really feeling worth it? Are you feeling a little overwhelmed with all your coupons? Here's a guide to help you get the best deal.

When you go grocery shopping you want to shop SALES. This will always give you the best deal. If you don't and just use a coupon on a regular product your not going to get the best deal. So how are you going to know what the best deal is?

Grocery Smarts is a great way to see your deals and they already pair your coupons up. I've mentioned before there are lots of sites online that you can print coupons. If you aren't sure of these sites, look to the right sidebar and you will find all the links under printable coupons. Also buying a Sunday newspaper is another great way to get more and All You Magazine (only found at Walmart in stores or you can order it online try Amazon.com).

I am going to introduce you to Grocery Smarts: Idaho Shoppers and Utah Shoppers. Arizona, California and Washington click to find yours. They are seperated by the stores and then show you what coupons to use, where to find the said coupons and how to make use of each sale. It also shows you stars on the left hand side if it is a stock up opportunity sale or not.

Another tip, if you can't find a coupon that you need try looking at the products website sometimes there's a link to a coupon because they want you to try their product!

To save even more, use a store coupon with a manufactured coupon. Target always have their own coupons out to pair with them to make the best deals, you just have to check out their site (check the right side of this blog). If you get the paper look for stores that have coupons that say use this coupon to double your manufacture coupon. Idaho shoppers, Albertson's does this and sometimes Kmart says double days.

Next tip post: how to organize all your coupons.
