Kids Bowl Free

It's back. Kids Bowl Free 2 games a day all summer long. Most start May 1 and end Sept. 30. I just took my kids bowling over the weekend and they had a blast. Well my three year old wouldn't last 2 games {3/4 of the game is how long he lasted on Saturday} and not sure my almost 5 year old would last 2 games, but free once a month or so would be fun. You do have to pay for ages 15 and over.

UT: Free Jazz tickets, Bees Tickets and more!

On December 21 there will be a free annual concert at the Energy Solutions Arena (and yes I am going to admit I wanted to write Delta center) it will be put on by Larry H Miller's family, read more about it here. The concert will have Jon Schmidt and it's a sing along so bring your caroling voice! Doors open at 6 PM and the event starts at 7 PM.

But what's even better than a free concert? Free stuff! While supplies last each guest who attend (which to me I think might be first come first serve?) will recieve a free hot dog, a free coca-cola product, a free Jazz game ticket, a 2010 ticket to a Bees game, free popcorn to the mega-plex and a buy one get one free coupon for go karts at Miller Motorsports Park! That's a lot of free stuff!

The Jazz tickets are for January 4th, January 6th and January 29th. The Bees tickets are for any resevered seat from April 1-May 15 home game. For more information you can call (801) 325-2000.

And if that's not enough everyone can ride UTA and TRAX for free December 21 from 5-10 PM to and from the Energy Solutions Arena! Visit rideuta.com to print a special ticket valid only for Trax.

UT Deal Hogle Zoo

Get in free to the Hogle Zoo this Wednesday November 25.

Other free days coming up if you can't make it or want to go again are Dec. 30, Jan. 27 and Feb. 24.

UTAH: Cash for Candy

Live near Draper, UT and don't want your kids to have all that candy? South Mountain Dental at 12288 S 900 E, Draper, UT will be giving 1 dollar per pound of candy given, he then will send the candy that he collected to the troops.

Trade this in on November 2nd anytime 2-6.

Free Bowling and Popcorn

Get a coupon for Jolly Time Popcorn and make sure you pick up the box that has a free coupon for bowling. Then go to Go Bowling and see if your local bowling ally participates to get in your free game! Mine did in Idaho and I found a few that were in my old neck of the woods in Utah!

Free Clark Planetarium Activity Tonight

President Obama will be hosting a star party on the white house lawn. The Clark Planetarium will be hosting a free event in the Hansen Dome Theater as well tonight October 7! You don't need tickets just show up at 5:30 when the doors open and the show starts at 6:00 pm. They will broadcast President Obama's address in the dome. Afterwards (around 6:30) learn about the telescope and observing techniques. At 7:30 High power telescopes will be set up outside the planetarium so you can see Jupiter and it's moons!

Free Disney on Ice Ticket, Salt Lake

Free Activities in Salt Lake

Want an idea of what to do this week for the kids for free? This week the Tracy Aviary has free admission from October 1-4. Here is a list of activities to decide which day would be better to enjoy.

Elephant Walk Gateway Today, UTAH

This is a little late, but for my Utah readers. At noon today, September 24, the Gateway will be having an Elephant walk along the Rio Grande Street thanks to the Ringling Brother's circus. So if you don't know what to do with yourselves get down there and take your kids!

Thomas Weekend at Toys R Us

I have two train loving boys in my house. We were out of town the last weekend that Toys R Us offered this "playdate" so I am not sure what it is about, but if you have a train lover you might want to check your local Toys R Us out!
